Join the team for cycling on 18 February at The David Weir Centre in Carshalton. The session involves cycling on various types of bicycle on an outside track. It is easy, especially for people who are new to cycling.
The session costs £3 and, instead of meeting at SCILL, go to the David Weir centre at 11am. There is a cafe at the centre, and everyone has a cup of tea or other refreshments after the session.
So, please note, there will be no session at SCILL that day.
On 28 January we will be meeting at SCILL at 10am and leaving at 12 noon, to go over to the Moon on the Hill for a pub lunch.
The lunches are reasonably priced and there is a good menu selection. It will cost around £10.
The group are taking part in another Awareness Day – a chance to explain about fibromyalgia, chronic pain, ME, MS and chronic fatigue syndrome.
This is taking place on 11 February at Sutton’s Central Library in St Nicholas Way. Do drop in and have a chat with the team.
There will be other Awareness Event taking place in Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s – dates to be confirmed.
The team are introducing a new activity – card making and other craft activities.
This activity will take place on Wednesday 21 January, 25 February and 25 March. Michelle will be leading this session. She makes her own cards and will be sharing tips and information to help anyone who comes along.
You don’t have to bring anything with, everything will be provided on the day.
A slightly belated, but nonetheless heartfelt, Happy New Year to all our followers and members.
Today we are meeting at SCILL to look at the programme for the coming months. Lots of good stuff going on. Don’t forget, you can pop down to SCILL in Robin Hood Lane between 10am and 2pm. There is a great cafe at SCILL, so you can pick up a nice lunch too.
